Research Use & Compliance Policy
The regulatory position of every product we supply, who is permitted to purchase, the applications we prohibit, and the handling standards we expect of the laboratories we serve.

Research Use Only Framework
In-vitro laboratory research only
Every compound we supply is a research chemical intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory investigation by trained professionals. Nothing we sell is intended, labelled, packaged, or suitable for human or veterinary use, and nothing we sell may be administered to a living subject.
Our materials are supplied as lyophilized reference compounds for controlled bench work — assay development, receptor binding studies, analytical method validation, and comparable laboratory applications. They are not sterile pharmaceutical preparations and are not manufactured to pharmaceutical standards.
No Regulatory Approval
No product on this website has been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any comparable authority for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any condition. Our products are not drugs, biologics, devices, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements.
Statements about purity, identity, or molecular characteristics describe the analytical properties of the material as tested. They are not claims of safety or efficacy for any use in a living organism, and they must not be presented as such.
Who May Purchase
We supply qualified researchers and research organizations — universities, hospitals and academic medical centres, government and independent laboratories, and commercial R&D operations. Purchasers must be at least 21 years of age and must have access to a suitable laboratory environment with trained personnel.
We do not sell to the general public for personal use, and we do not knowingly supply anyone who intends to administer material to themselves or to any other person or animal.
Required Attestations
Checkout requires an explicit, recorded attestation covering age, researcher status, and research-only intent. That attestation is a condition of sale, is logged with the order, and is repeated for every purchase. Providing false information is a material breach of our Terms of Sale and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
We may request further verification — institutional affiliation, a purchase order, or details of the intended research application — before releasing an order, and we may hold or cancel an order pending that verification.
Prohibited Applications
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in refusal of service:
- Any administration to a human being or animal, by any route, in any quantity.
- Use in clinical care, compounding, diagnostics, or any wellness, longevity, or aesthetic practice.
- Repackaging, dilution, reformulation, or relabelling for consumptive sale.
- Resale or transfer to consumers, or to any party suspected of consumptive intent.
- Marketing any product as approved, safe, or effective for human or veterinary use.
- Athletic or performance use, including any use contravening a sports governing body rule.
- Any application prohibited by applicable federal, state, local, or international law.
Handling Standards We Expect
Purchasers are expected to operate to recognized laboratory safety standards, treating each compound as a substance of unknown biological activity:
- Trained personnel only, working with appropriate engineering controls and protective equipment.
- Storage at the stated conditions, typically -20°C and desiccated, with material kept sealed and clearly labelled.
- Physical segregation from food, drink, consumables, and clinical supplies.
- Reconstitution and handling under documented internal procedures.
- Disposal of surplus material and containers as regulated laboratory waste.
Traceability & Records
Each production lot carries a certificate of analysis documenting identity and purity, and we retain lot records so material can be traced if a quality question arises. We ask purchasers to maintain their own internal records of receipt, storage, use, and disposal for the material in their custody.
Export, Import & Customs
Legal status varies by jurisdiction: a compound that may be supplied for research in one country may be controlled or prohibited in another. Before ordering, confirm that the material may lawfully be imported, possessed, and used at your destination.
Purchasers are the importer of record and are responsible for duties, taxes, permits, and customs formalities. We will not ship to embargoed destinations or restricted parties, and we may decline any shipment we cannot satisfy ourselves is lawful.
Right to Refuse or Cancel
We may refuse, limit, hold, or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including where an order shows indicators of consumptive intent or diversion, where attestations appear false, where a destination raises legal concerns, or where a purchaser has previously breached these policies. Where we cancel an accepted order, we refund it.
Reporting Misuse
If you become aware of any misuse, diversion, or resale of our materials for consumptive purposes, report it to compliance@nupeps.example. We investigate credible reports, terminate accounts involved in misuse, and cooperate with authorities where appropriate.
